Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

The canyon is the second most visited attraction in Yellowstone National Park. Over thousands of years, it was carved out by the powerful Yellowstone River. There are two stunning waterfalls for which the canyon has been much popular. These falls are named as Upper Falls and Lower Falls. The Upper Falls are 109 feet high while the Lower Falls are 300 feet high. However, there are accommodation facilities for the visitors of the Canyon in Canyon Village. So, you can stay there if you want.


Lamar Valley

Lamar Valley is another great attraction in Yellowstone National Park, which attracts thousands of visitors each day. It is famous because it provides best wildlife viewing in the park. Being home to large herds of buffalo and wolves, the valley is located in the northeastern corner of the park. One or two wolf pack resides in the valley. Once upon a time, the most famous packs of the park named Druids resided in the valley. However, if you want to observe bears or wolves, then you should go the place either in the morning or the evening.


Mammoth Hot Springs
