HEALTH ISSUES- DETOX

Detoxification, more commonly known as ‘Detox’ is the means by which any toxins are removed from the body, be it the liver carrying out its natural duties, a cleanser detoxifying the skin or a drink formulated by medicinal companies. With the advancing times, men and women alike are becoming increasingly aware of Detox, and it benefits. From cleansing your body as a precaution against a potential illness to simply wanting that ‘glow’ on your skin, Whatever the reason might be. It is a fact that this phenomenon is gaining popularity.

Strange as it may seem, detox was equally popular in olden times as it is today. The Egyptians and Chinese showing particular keenness for it. It was believed (and now proven right) that detoxification could help ward off some nasty diseases, especially those related to the digestive system. Some of the treatments done by our ancestors include cupping, dry skin brushing, and even the simple use of lemon in water.
