  • With warfarin because diarrhea increases warfarin absorption and increases bleeding.
  • With digoxin because it causes decreases potassium level which can be fatal with digoxin intake.
  • With diuretics or water pills
  • It also should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding because it can cause miscarriages and birth defects.
